Publication Ethics & Policies

IJPEMR is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, academic integrity and responsible scholarly communication. Authors, reviewers and editors are expected to act honestly, transparently and responsibly.

1. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions should be based primarily on scientific quality, originality, relevance and ethical standards and should not be influenced by personal or commercial considerations.

2. Peer Review

Manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening and may be sent to independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. A double-anonymized process may be used where practicable. Reviewers should provide objective, constructive and confidential assessments.

3. Plagiarism & Misconduct

Plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, manipulation of findings and other forms of academic misconduct are not acceptable. Concerns may be investigated and appropriate editorial action may be taken.

4. Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who made meaningful intellectual contributions and who approve the final manuscript. Gift or honorary authorship is discouraged.

5. Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers and editors should disclose financial, personal, professional or institutional relationships that could influence the research or editorial process.

6. Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, animals or identifiable personal information should comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Where applicable, ethical approval and informed consent information should be provided.

7. Funding Disclosure

Authors should disclose grants, institutional support or other financial assistance. If there is no external funding, this should be stated clearly.

8. Corrections & Retractions

Significant post-publication errors may be corrected. Where findings are unreliable or serious ethical problems are established, the journal may consider retraction or other corrective action.

9. Complaints & Appeals

Authors may raise legitimate concerns through the official journal contact channel. Appeals should be professional and supported by relevant information.

10. AI-Assisted Tools

Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of their manuscripts. AI-assisted tools should be used responsibly and must not be relied upon to create fabricated data, references or findings.

11. Copyright & Licensing

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts do not infringe the rights of others. Applicable copyright and licensing terms will be communicated during publication.

12. Open Access & Charges

IJPEMR follows an open-access approach. The journal currently operates with ₹0 submission and article processing charges. Any future policy change will be announced transparently.
